The bears are related, because if they were not the baby bear would be scared.The little one is 5 and the old one is 29. They are playing together. They are feeling happy. Maybe because there are stars showing around them. Maybe because it's a special moment. My special time was when my best dad bought my Chromebook to take home.

During Lockdown

In lock down my family went in the car and had a ride. Not that many cars were on the road when we went shopping there was a big line full of people. My mum had to wait for a long time. But she made it after I went back  to my house and I ate some food and watched the news. They were talking about the covid-19 and they were talking about the moon tomorrow ( April the 9Th ) the full moon will come.

Saving Electricity

When I have a shower I use less hot water because that wastes a lot of electricity. If you turn off the light, remember to turn it off. And you can buy power saving light bulbs. Don't leave the tap on because it might waste the water and that's called wasting power. And you can get solar panels to save electricity. Solar panels use the sun energy. Don't leave the tv on when you sleep or when you are not watching it.

My holiday

In the holidays I went to a motel in Kerikeri and got to see my uncle and aunty after. Then I went inside the house and went to sleep. Because we needed to go in our real house, so in the morning we clean up. 

Then we went to eat. We came home and watch the new Goosebumps. 

Then I had dinner and went to sleep. I was so surprised that my aunt took me to a motel.

Keeping ourselves safe

In class we have been learning about keeping ourselves safe in different situations. I created a story board, I hope you enjoy it.

My story.

There was a boy named Junior. He was 17 years old.

He went to bed one night and he heard a noise coming from downstairs. When he went downstairs, his mum and dad were lying there. Junior began to cry. 

A mysterious man appeared and gave Junior powers. Junior got given fire powers and he felt very different. The man disappeared into thin air.

So Junior tells his friends at school and said he wanted to use his new powers for revenge on the person her hurt his family.

Junior managed to find the person who hurt his family and began fighting him. He fought very hard until he couldn't fight anymore. He won the battle.

He went to his families grave and out flowers down. He was sad but happy he found who had hurt his family and got justice.

The movies!

In the holidays, I went to the movies to see the new Avengers movie, End Game. It started at 1 pm. So while we were waiting, we went to look around the shops and go into them.

After we looked around, we went back to watch the movie. There were lots of people going in. I thought the movie was really good and I was surprised at some of the things that happened.

Once it was finished, I went to buy some food and eat it. Then I went to my house and I went to bed and go to sleep.

I was so happy that my aunty took me to the movies. Thank you!

The digestive system

Our teeth crunch up the food. When we swallow the tongue puts the food down to our necks. The stomach breaks down the food. When we puke, we can feel soreness in our throats because the acid in our stomach comes up as we are sick.

The stomach contains acid and enzymes that help break the food down even more. Next, the small intestine absorbs minerals and vitamins. The large intestine absorbs the rest of the salt and water and then the food comes out as waste through the rectum.

My favourite animal

My favourite animal is a dog because they run fast and they are adorable.

My weekend

In the weekend I went to church but it we weren’t there for too long because we had to go pick my aunty up. It’s like I’m going to a farm. When I went home I took my dog for a big walk. This all happened on Sunday. I ate my dinner and pray for us to have a good night. I really hope I can do it again because I felt really happy that day.
