Once Upon A Piture.

 

• What’s happening here? The big mushroom is reading a book to the little ones.

• Do the two smaller mushrooms know the larger one? Maybe maybe not, maybe the bigger one kidnapped them.

• Have they done this before? How do you know? I think so because the little ones look calm and seem calm

• What is the larger mushroom reading? What kind of thing might you expect to find inside this book? He or she is reading enoki tales and maybe some tales are true.

• ‘Enoki’ is a type of mushroom (it is the Japanese name for it, as it’s highly popular in Japan). Are the smaller mushrooms of the same species? maybe.

• What do you think might be in the background? Trees and grass

• Write a story that might belong in the book, ‘Enoki Tales’. Once upon a time there was a big monster called humans and the humans are eating the mushrooms.
